CITY COUNCIL AGENDA May 29, 1984 CONSENT CALENDAR: All matters listed on the agenda under "Consent Calendar" are to be considered by the City Council to be routine and will be enacted by one motion approving the recommendations listed on the agenda. 11. Motion to Approve City Council Minutes of the Regular Meeting of May 14, 1984. Recommendation: That the City Council approve the Minutes of May 14, 1984 as submitted. 12. Motion to Introduce and/or Adopt All Ordinances Presented for Consideration by Title Only and to Waive Further Reading. 13. Consideration of Adoption of Resolution Commending Mr. William Robert Reynolds. Recommendation: That the City Council adopt the Resolution by title only, title as follows, commending Mr. William Robert Reynolds for his Samaritan efforts. A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Cypress Commending William Robert Reynolds for His Actions in Assisting a Police Officer in Distress. 14. Consideration of Proclaiming 1983-1992 as "The Decade of Disabled Persons" Recommendation: That the Mayor and City Council officially proclaim 1983-1992 as "The Decade of Disabled Persons" as requested. 15. Consideration of Acceptance of Improvements and Release of Bonds for Tract 11699 (E/Moody, S/Lincoln). Recommendation: That the City Council accept the public improvements in Tract 11699 as being satisfactorily completed in accordance with the Plans and Specifications and authorize the City Clerk to release the Monumentation Bond and the Labor and Material Bond upon expiration of their required lien period, providing no mechanic liens are filed, with the Performance Bond to be held for one year from the date of acceptance to guarantee against any defects in material or workmanship. 16. Consideration of Renewal of Contract With State Cooperative Personnel Services. 17. Recommendation: That the City Council authorize the Mayor to sign and the City Clerk to attest to an agreement for renewal of the contract between the City and the State Cooperative Personnel Services for personnel examining services as outlined in the report for the period of June 30, 1984 through June 29, 1987. Consideration of Recommendations of Traffic Commission Meeting of May 15, 1984. Recommendation: That the City Council approve the recommendations of the Traffic Commission as outlined in the report and adopt the Resolution by title only, title as follows, establishing a "No Parking Any Time" on the east side of Bloomfield Street between Larwin Avenue and the Carbon Creek Channel.
