RESOLUTION NO. 3592
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS
APPROVING AMENDED SPECIFIC PLAN NO. 88 -3,
SORRENTO PLANNED COMMUNITY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Cypress
conducted a public hearing on June 12, 1989, to consider Amended
Specific Plan No. 88 -3, PC -7, located near the northwest corner
of Ball Road and Moody Street, as shown in Attachment "A "; and
WHEREAS, the Specific Plan details a land use plan and
development regulations for single - family homes, and a community
park.
WHEREAS, the proposed Amended Specific Plan amends
Section III. B. 2. a. 1. g. to allow three (3) of the eight (8) floor
plan types to exceed the 40% maximum structural lot coverage by a
maximum of 44% for plan 5,000 - #4, 42% for plan 6000 - #3, and
41% for plan 5,000 - #3. This proposed amendment applies to a
maximum of 177 lots or 26.4% of the total number of lots; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Amended Specific Plan is
consistent with the General Plan -Low Density Residential
designation; and
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Cypress
does hereby resolve, determine, find, and order as follows:
1. The proposed amendment to Specific Plan No. 88 -3
brought before the City Council at a public
hearing on June 12, 1989 is hereby approved,
subject to the conditions set forth in Attachment
1, incorporated herein by this reference as if set
forth in full.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Cypress at a regular meeting held on the 26th day of June 1989.

ATTACHMENT 1
Amended Specific Plan No. 88 -3 applies to 177 lots or 26.4% of
total lots, to allow maximum of 44% for plan 5000 - #3, provided
that the square footage of proposed floor plans remains the same
as well'as the number of non - conforming lots.
