RESOLUTION NO. 3237
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS
ESTABLISHING A "NO PARKING" ZONE ON THE SOUTHSIDE OF
ORANGEWOOD AVENUE, 190' WEST OF HALAWA LANE, AND ADJACENT
TO THE CROSSWALK AT MYRA AVENUE AND BARBARA ANNE STREET.
WHEREAS, Article 10, Section 16 -54(d) of the Cypress City Code, as amended,
the Traffic Ordinance, authorizes the City Council by Resolution to establish
"No Parking" zones; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Commission of the City of Cypress has considered and
recommended the establishment of such a restriction as contained in this Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Cypress that:
1. "No Parking Any Time" zones are hereby established on the following
streets or portions thereof.
a. Orangewood Avenue, southside, an additional 110' for a total of
190' west of Halawa Lane.
b. Myra Avenue, northside,5' east of crosswalk at Barbara Anne Street.
c. Myra Avenue, southside, 20' west of crosswalk at Barbara Anne Street.
2. The City Traffic Engineer is hereby directed to indicate such areas by
appropriate signs or by red paint upon the curb surface.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cypress at a regular
meeting held on the llth day of May, 1987.
