RESOLUTION NO. 3010
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS
APPROVING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 85 -2.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Cypress held a public hearing
at their meeting on November 25, 1985 to consider a City initiated proposed
amendment to the Land Use Element of the General Plan, which amendment would
change the existing land use designation of CG Commercial General to BP
Business Park for the area generally located at the southwest corner of
Cerritos Avenue and Valley View Street; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered evidence presented at the public
hearing including a report and recommendation prepared by the Planning staff;
and
WHEREAS, the proposed amendment would designate all properties within
the 47 -acre Cypress View Limited site (as legally described in Exhibit "B ")
which are planned to be zoned PC -5 Planned Community Commercial /Light
Industrial Zone No. 5; and
WHEREAS, after discussion by the City Council with the citizens affected
by this amendment, a motion was made to approve /deny the General Plan Amend-
ment.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of
Cypress DOES HEREBY APPROVE General Plan Amendment No. 85 -2.
