Resolution No. 307261 RESOLUTION NO. 3072 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS COMMENDING THE TEACHERS OF OUR COMMUNITY AND PROCLAIMING APRIL 15, 1986, AS "DAY OF THE TEACHER ". WHEREAS, Anaheim Union High School District teachers have responded diligently and responsively to the educational needs of our youth; and WHEREAS, Lexington Junior High School and Cypress High School teachers have benefitted numerous scholars and contributed meaningfully to our society; and WHEREAS, the Cypress City Council appreciates the dedication of our teachers to inspire and educate our youth as they prepare to achieve their future goals. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Cypress extends its appreciation and commendation to the teachers who have made and continue to make this a better country in which to live; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of Cypress do hereby proclaim APRIL 15, 1986, as "DAY OF THE TEACHER" and urge our citizens to give special recognition on this day to our teachers.
