A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS
ESTABLISHING ONE CONTINUOUS "NO PARKING ANY TIME" AREA ON
THE EAST SIDE OF WALKER STREET FROM 10 FEET NORTH OF THE
NORTHERLY DRIVE APPROACH OF CASA WALKER APARTMENTS, LOCATED
AT 9622 -8642 WALKER STREET TO 80 FEET SOUTH OF WALKER COURT.
WHEREAS, Article 10, Section 16 -54(d) of the Cypress City Code, as amended,
the Traffic Ordinance, authorizes the City Council by Resolution to establish
"No Parking" areas; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Commission of the City of Cypress has considered and
recommended the establishment of such a restriction as contained in this Resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Cypress that:
1. "No Parking Any Time" areas are hereby established on the following
streets or portions thereof.
a. Walker Street, east side, from 10 feet north of the northerly
drive approach of Casa Walker Apartments, located at 9622 -8642
Walker Street to 80 feet south of Walker Court.
2. The City Traffic Engineer is hereby directed to indicate such areas by
appropriate signs or by red paint upon the curb surface.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cypress at a regular
meeting held on the 9th day of June, 1986.
