Resolution No. 471RESOLUTION NO. 471 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS DECLARING THAT WEEDS GROWING UPON AND IN FRONT OF, AND RUBBISH, REFUSE AND DIRT UPON AND IN FRONT OF CERTAIN PRIVATE PROPERTY IN THE CITY ARE A PUBLIC NUISANCE, AND DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO PROVIDE FOR THE ABATEMENT THEREOF. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That weeds growing upon and in front of and rubbish, refuse and dirt upon and in front of certain parcels of land as described in attached Exhibit A constitute a public nuisance. SECTION 2. That if said nuisance is not abated by the owners of said parcels of land referred to in Exhibit A, it is the intention of the City Council to have said nuisance abated in accordance with the provisions of Article III, Title IV, Division III, Part II of the Government Code of the State of California. SECTION 3. The Superintendent of Streets of the City of Cypress is hereby designated as the Public Officer to perform the duties imposed by Sections 39560 -39587 of the Government Code upon the Superintendent as so defined in said Sections. SECTION 4. The Superintendent of Streets is hereby directed to post notices on said property as provided in Section 39564, et. seq., of the Government Code. SECTION 5. That the 25th day of May, 1964, at 7:30 P.M., in the City Council Chambers, located at 9471 South Walker Street, Cypress, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where any and all property owners having any objections to the proposed removal may be heard. PASSED AND ADOPTED this llth day of May, 1964.
