A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS AMENDING
THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY
OF CYPRESS, DESIGNATING BLOOMFIELD STREET AS A SECONDARY HIGHWAY
WHEREAS, public hearing have been held as required by law by the
Cypress City Planning Commission and the Cypress City Council to consider
a proposed amendment to the Streets and Highways Element of the General
Plan to change Bloomfield Street from a primary highway to a secondary
highway; and
WHEREAS, the Cypress City Council and the Cypress Planning Commission
have determined that due to the fact that the County of Los Angeles, City
of Long Beach, City of Los Alamitos, and County of Orange all have Bloomfield
Street designated as a secondary highway, that the City of Cypress should
conform to the street standards of the surrounding jurisdictions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City,
that all protions of Bloomfield Street within the City of Cypress are
hereby designated as a secondary highway and that the Streets and Highways
element of the City of Cypress General Plan is hereby amended to so
designate Bloomfield Street as a secondary highway.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 27th day of July, 1964, by
