subject claim in the amount of $1,318.73.

Community Service Month".
Recommendation: That the Mayor and City Council officially
proclaim the month of April 1986, as "Women in Community
Service Month" in the City of Cypress.
Consideration of Proclaiming April 7 - 13, 1986, as "The Week
of the Disabled".
Recommendation: That the Mayor and City Council officially
proclaim the week of April 7 - 13, 1986, as "The Week of
the Disabled" in the City of Cypress as requested.

Compensation to the Members of the Cypress Cultural Arts
Commission.
Recommendation: That the City Council adopt the Resolution by
title only, title as follows, providing for the payment of
compensation to the members of the Cypress Cultural Arts
Commission.

attendance of the Assistant to the City Manager/Employee
Relations, Nancy Leonard, at the International Personnel
Management Association (IPMA), Western Region, annual
conference to be held on April 21 - 25, 1986, in Oakland,
CA, and be reimbursed for all actual and necessary expenses
incurred.
16. Consideration of Claim Filed by Sylvester Keith Tanner.

Recommendation: That the City Council officially reject the
subject claim and refer it to the City's Claims
Administrator, Carl Warren & Co., for appropriate
disposition.

Consideration of Preliminary Report for the Cypress Lighting
District No. 2 - 1986.
Recommendation: That the City Council adopt the following
Resolutions by title only, titles as follows: 1) Approving
the City Engineer's Preliminary Report for Cypress Lighting
District No. 2; 2) Intention to install improvements and
maintain Cypress Lighting District No. 2 for calendar year
1986; and 3) Appointing a time and place for the public
hearing on Cypress Lighting District No. 2.
