Motion to Introduce and/or Adopt All Ordinances Presented For Considera- tion by Title Only and to Waive Further Reading. 4. Consideration of Proclaiming March 1981,as "Red Cross Month." Recommendation: That the Mayor and City Council officially proclaim the month of March 1981, as "Red Cross Month" in the City of Cypress as requested. Consideration of Extension of Contract for the Modification of Traffic Signals on Lincoln Avenue from Bloomfield Street to Knott Street, City of Cypress Project No. 7927-50. Recommendation: That the City Council approve Grissom & Johnson's request for a forty (40) working day extension of time, project to be completed by April 23, 1981. 6. Consideration of Acceptance of Ball Road and Walker Street Traffic Signal, City of Cypress Project No. 8012-50 HES L060(001). Recommendation: That the City Council accept the Ball Road and Walker Street traffic signal as being satisfactorily completed in accordance with the Plans and Specifications and authorize the City Clerk to release the Labor and Material Bond upon expiration of the required lien period providing no liens have been filed and to release the Faithful Performance Bond upon expiration of one year's guarantee providing no defects in material and workmanship become evident. 7. Consideration of Acceptance of Pavement Marker Program, Federal Project PMS-000S(022), City of Cypress Project No. 8002-90. City Council Agenda February 23, 1981 CONSENT CALENDAR(Continued): Recommendation: That the City Council accept the Pavement Marker Project as being satisfactorily completed in accordance with the Plans and Specifications and authorize the City Clerk to release the Labor and Material Bond upon expiration of the required lien period providing no liens have been filed and to release the Faithful Performance Bond upon expiration of one year's guarantee providing no defects in material and workmanship become evident. Recommendation: That the City Council adopt the Resolution by title only, title as follows, approving the Priority Plan for Expenditure under the provisions of the California Parklands Act of 1980: A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Cypress Approving the Priority Plan for Expenditure Under the Provisions of the California Parklands Act of 1980. 9. Consideration of Acceptance of Parcel Map No. 80-1160 (Southeast Corner of Katella Avenue and Holder Street). Recommendation: That the City Council approve Final Parcel Map No. 80-1160 and authorize the City Clerk to sign the record map subject to the completion of conditions of the Tentative Parcel Map approved by the City Council. 10. Consideration of Adoption of Resolution of Commendation for Michael J. Demarest. Recommendation: That the City Council adopt the Resolution, by title only, title as follows, commending Michael J. Consideration of Allocation of Funds to Special Activities - 307.08 (4187 Other Contract Services). Recommendation: That the Cypress City Council, acting as the' ex-officio Board of Directors for the Cypress Recreation and Park District, appro- priate $9,500 to be allocated to program 307.08(4187 - Other Contract Services) of the Recreation and Park District Special Activity Program. 12. Consideration of a Series of One Day Workshops for Senior Citizens on the Use of Personal Protection Tear Gas. Recommendation: That the Cypress City Council, acting as the ex-officio Board of Directors for the Cypress Recreation and Park District, approve establishment of a series of one day workshops on the use of personal protection tear gas as described in the report. - 2 - City Council Agenda February 23, 1981 PUBLIC HEARINGS - 7:00 P.M.: 13.
