Recommendation: That the Mayor and City Council officially proclaim
the month of October 1981, as "Escrow Month" in the City of Cypress
as requested.

Consideration of an Application for an Original Alcoholic Beverage
License Filed by Pral Ngoc & Prith Preng Kien, D.B.A. Midge's
Cal-Va Dairy, 5792 Lincoln Avenue, Cypress.
Recommendation: Receive and file.
12. Consideration of Authorization for the City Manager to Attend the
1981 ASPA/WGRA Conference.
Recommendation: That the City Manager be authorized to attend the 1981
ASPA/WGRA Conference on October 28 - 30, 1981, in Stockton, California,
and be reimbursed for all actual and necessary expenses incurred.

Consideration of Extension of Contract for the Installation of
Traffic Signals at Ball Road and Juanita Street and at Crescent
Avenue and Carob Street, City of Cypress Project No. 8027-50.
Recommendation: That the City Council approve Steiny & Co.'s request
for a thirty (30) working day extension of time, project to be
completed by October 29, 1981.
Consideration of Prohibition of Heavy Vehicle Parking on Public Parking
Lots.
Recommendation: ~at the City Council adopt the Resolution by title only,
title as follows, prohibiting vehicles over three (3) tons from
parking in public parking lots.

15. Consideration of Proclaiming October 6, 1981, as "Share-A-Ride Day."
Recommendation: That the Mayor and .City Council officially proclaim
October 6, 1981, as "Share-A-Ride Day" in the City of Cypress.
16. Consideration of Summons-On Cross-Complaint, Alpha Beta Company VS.
Deanna Diane Hoffman, et al.
Recommendation: Receive and file.
17. Consideration of Extending Existing Contract for Furnishing Asphaltic
Concrete at Same Unit Price.
Recommendation: That the City Council approve extending the existing
contract with All American Asphalt at the same unit prices through
September 15, 1982.
Recreation & Park District Matters:
18. Consideration of Patchwork Pre-School Proposed Fee Increase.
Recommendation: That the City Council, acting as the ex-officio govern-
ing Board of Directors for the Cypress Recreation and Park District,
approve the proposed increase of fees for registration in the Patch-
work Pre-School, as follows:
$33 for 45 hours of instruction (three-year-olds)
$49 for 67.5 hours of instruction (four-year-olds)
19. Consideration of Request for Oxford Facility Use for Clogging Competition
on October 17, 1981.
Recommendation: That the City Council, acting as the ex-officio governing
Board of Directors for the Cypress Recreation and Park District, approve
use of the Oxford facility by the Cypress Civic Theatre Guild/Orange
Blossom Cloggers with appropriate fee charges as recommended by the
Cypress Recreation and Community Services Commission.
