A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS
ESTABLISHING "NO PARKING BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8:00 A.M.
TO 12:00 NOON, ON SPECIFIED DAYS FOR THE PURPOSE OF
STREET SWEEPING".
WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code Division 11, Chapter 9, Section 22507
authorizes local authorities by Resolution to prohibit or restrict the park-
ing or standing of vehicles on certain streets or highways, or portions
thereof, during all or certain hours of the day; and
WHEREAS, Article 10, Section 16-54 (k) of the Cypress City Code, as
amended, the Traffic Ordinance, authorizes the City Council by Resolution
to establish "No Parking" areas for the purpose of street cleaning, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Cypress has considered the
establishment of such a restriction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Cypress that:
1. "No Parking Between the Hours of 8:00 A.M. and 12:00 Noon on
For the Purpose of Street Sweeping" is hereby
established on the following streets or portions thereof.
A. Restriction on Tuesday.
1. Walker Street, east side, from Orange Avenue to Rare Avenue.
B. Restriction on Wednesday:
1. Holder Street, both sides, from Orangewood Avenue to Stanton
Storm Channel.
2. Knott Street, west side, from Orangewood Avenue to Stanton
Storm Channel.
3. Orangewood Avenue, north side, frau Holder Street to Knott
Street.
C. Restriction on Thursday:
1. Orangewood Avenue, south side, from Holder Street to Knott
Street.
D. Restriction on Friday:
1. Denni Street, both sides from Ball Road to 400' south of
Ball Road
2. The City Traffic Engineer is directed to indicate such areas by the
appropriate signs.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cypress, at a
regular meeting held on the 9th day of April, 1984.
