A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS
DETERMINING AND DECLARING THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF
WAGES
WHEREAS, it is necessary that a determination and declaration be made
by the City of Cypress relative to the general prevailing rate per diem
wages in the City of Cypress,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
That it is hereby determined and declared that the general prevailing
rate per diem wages in the City of Cypress and its locality for each craft
classification and type of workmen needed to perform on public works is as
set forth respectively in that certain document entitled "Wage Scales for
the Six Basic Trades" (as corrected to October 1965), a copy of which is
attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A", and that certain document entitled
"Sub -Trades, Hourly Wages of Building and Construction Trades Unions
Affilhted with the Building and Construction Trades Council of Orange
County" (as corrected to October 1965), a copy of which is attached hereto
and made a part hereof as Exhibit "B".
Three copies of each of said documents are on file in the City Clerk's
office of said City and are hereby referred to, and by such reference made
a part hereof as though set forth in full; that said copies on file in said
City Clerk's office shall be open for the use and benefit of the public.
That said declaration and determination is made in accordance with
Section 1770 and 1773 of the Labor Code of the State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cypress, at a
regular meeting held on the 28th day of March, 1966.

receive 15d per hour premium pay additional to the regular rate of pay.

Thereafter they shall receive an additional 109 per hour premien pay addi-
tionalitthe regular rate of pay for each additional 20 feet of boom, includ-
ing
It is agreed that two or more Engineer Operators will constitute a com-
plete operating crew on all Tower Crane equipment (American Pecan, Bucyrus
Erie, Mayco-Weitz, Linden and similar types), and they shall receive 454 per
hour premium pay in addition to the applicable Universal Equipment Oper-
ator's rate of pay (Long Boom premium shall not apply to this equipment).
Operators on all hoisting equipment with three drums or more, shall
receive 154 per hour premium padditional to the regular rate of pay.
Combination Mixer and Compressor Operators on Gunite Work shall be
classified as Concrete Mobile Mixer Operators.
Operators on Equipment with scrapers or dragtype shovels in tandem sha
receive premium pay of $1.00 per hour above the regular rate.
Operators on tandem type equipment excluding compaction units shall re-
ceive premium pay of 509 per hour above the regular rate. Operators shall
receive an additional 504 per hour above the tandem rate of pay for each
additional unit attached thereafter.
The necessity for the use of an employee as a Signalman shall be deter-
mined by the Contractor. When used, he shall be Enginser-Oiler, as
defined herein, who assists in giving or relaying signals by mechanical means
(also by means of hand signals on excavation work) directly to the Operator of
hoisting equipment only.
On a survey crew the Party Chief shall receive premium pay of 109 per
hour above the regular rate.
