A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS
CONSENTING TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN INHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS
"ANNEXATION NO. 67-1".
WHEREAS, on May 18, 1967, a request for consent to annexation
dated May 18, 1967, was presented to the City Council of the City of
Cypress, requesting the Council to give its consent to the commencement
of annexation proceedings in connection with that certain inhabited
territory referred to and described therein; and
WHEREAS, said petition was referred to the Planning Commission of
the City of Cypress for report and recommendation on May 18, 1967; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission rendered its report and recommen-
dation to the Council on the 18th day of May, 1967, recommending the
commencement of inhabited annexation proceedings under the Annexation
Act of 1913, pursuant to such request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Cypress as follows:
1. That consent be and hereby is granted for the commencement
for the annexation of such inhabited territory in accordance with the
Annexation Act of 1913.
2. That said unincorporated territory be and hereby is designated
as "Annexation No. 67-1," and is described on the attached Exhibit "A".
3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cypress, at
an adjourned regular meeting held on the 18th day of May, 1967.

ANNEXATION NO. 67-1
Being a portion of Sections 8, 9, 16, and 17, Township 4 South, Range 11
West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, as shown on a map recorded in
Book 51, Page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, State
of California, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the Northeasterly right of way
line of the Pacific Electric Railway, 100 feet in width, as defined
by a deed recorded November 14, 1905, in Book 122, Page 262 of Deeds,
Official Records of said Orange County, and the West line of the East
850.00 feet of the Northeast Quarter (NE1) of the Northwest Quarter
(NW') of said Section 8, said point being an angle point in the
boundary line of the City of Cypress as established by Rombout
Annexation, Ordinance No. 133, and also being a point in the
boundary line of the original incorporation limits of the City of
La Palma, approved by the Secretary of State October 26, 1955;
thence South 53° 23' 43" East along the said boundary line of the
original incorporation of the City of La Palma and the La Palma City
boundary line as established by Annexation No. 64-1 (Ordinance No. 100)
and Annexation No. 65-1 (Ordinance No. 117) and the said Northeasterly
