Resolution No. 771RESOLUTION NO. 771 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS CONSENTING TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN INHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "ANNEXATION NO. 67-1". WHEREAS, on May 18, 1967, a request for consent to annexation dated May 18, 1967, was presented to the City Council of the City of Cypress, requesting the Council to give its consent to the commencement of annexation proceedings in connection with that certain inhabited territory referred to and described therein; and WHEREAS, said petition was referred to the Planning Commission of the City of Cypress for report and recommendation on May 18, 1967; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission rendered its report and recommen- dation to the Council on the 18th day of May, 1967, recommending the commencement of inhabited annexation proceedings under the Annexation Act of 1913, pursuant to such request. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Cypress as follows: 1. That consent be and hereby is granted for the commencement for the annexation of such inhabited territory in accordance with the Annexation Act of 1913. 2. That said unincorporated territory be and hereby is designated as "Annexation No. 67-1," and is described on the attached Exhibit "A". 3.
