Resolution No. 731160 RESOLUTION NO. 731 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF BLOOMFIELD STREET SUBJECT TO THE RESERVATION OF CERTAIN EASEMENTS, AND ELECTING TO PROCEED UNDER THE STREET VACATION ACT OF 1941 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE, ORDER, AND FIND AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. It is the intention of the City Council of the City of Cypress to order the vacation of the following portion of a street, subject to the reservation of the following described easement: An 8 -foot strip on the east side of Bloomfield, south of Ball Road, and more particularly described as follows: That portion of Tract No. 4047, in the City of Cypress, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on map recorded in Book 144, pages 21 to 25 inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said County, described as follows: Commencing at the centerline intersection of Ball Road and Bloomfield Street, as shown on map of said Tract No. 4047; thence along said centerline of Bloomfield Street South 0° 02' 24" East 862.51 feet to westerly prolongation of the northerly line of the southerly 8.00 feet of said Tract No. 4047; thence North 89° 56' 06" East 50.00 feet along said prolongation to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, said point also lying on the existing East line of said Bloomfield Street; thence North 0° 02' 24" West 785.49 feet along said East line of Bloomfield Street to the beginning of a tangent curve concave southeasterly and having a radius of 27.00 feet; thence northeasterly along said curve through a central angle of 90° 00' 04" an arc distance of 42.41 feet to a point of tangency in the South line of said Ball Road, said southerly line being 50.00 feet, measured at right angles, from the centerline of Ball Road; thence South 89° 57' 40" West 8.00 feet along the westerly prolongation of the South line of said Ball Road to the beginning of a tangent curve concave southeasterly and having a radius of 27.00 feet; thence southwesterly along said curve through a central angle of 90° 00' 04" an arc distance of 42.41 feet to a tangent line, said line being 42.00 feet, measured at right angles, from the centerline of Bloomfield Street; thence South 0° 04' 24" East 785.49 feet along said tangent line to the westerly prolongation of the northerly line of the southerly 8.00 feet of said Tract No. 4047; thence North 89° 56' 06" East 8.00 feet along said westerly prolongation to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. Reserving in, on, over, and through the above described parcel an easement for public utilities. SECTION 2. City elects to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941. SECTION 3. The time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation is hereby fixed at the hour of 7:30 p.m. at the regular meeting place of said City Council at the Board Room of the Cypress County Water District, 9471 South Walker Street, Cypress, California, on November 14, 1966. SECTION 4. A detailed map of the portion of said street and said easement is on file in the offices of the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works of the City of Cypress, and the attention of anyone interested in additional particulars is directed to these persons. 161 SECTION 5. The City Clerk is directed to cause notices to be posted conspicuously along the line of the portion of the street to be vacated at least ten (10) days before the date set for said hearing. Said notices shall be posted not more than three hundred feet (300') apart, but at least three (3) of such notices shall be posted on the street. Said notices shall state the passage of this Resolution and the time and place of the hearing. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cypress, at a regular meeting held on the 24th day of October, 1966.
