A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS
DESIGNATING THE COUNTY OF ORANGE AS THE COORDINATING
AGENCY FOR THE FEDERAL AID SECONDARY URBAN EXTENSION
CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ON KATELLA AVENUE FROM 2668' WEST
OF VALLEY VIEW STREET TO KNOTT AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Cypress by Resolution No.
702, dated June 13, 1966, requested the California Highway Commission
and the Department of Public Works to allocate funds for construction
an Katella Avenue (FAS Route No. 826) from 2668' West of Valley View
Street to Knott Avenue under Section 143.3 of the Streets and Highways
Code; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable in the interest of efficiency and economy
of construction to combine this project with the proposed adjacent
County of Orange and City of Stanton projects under one construction
contract from 2668' West of Valley View Street, to Beach Boulevard; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
