A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS
DETERMINING AND DECLARING THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE
OF WAGES.
WHEREAS, it is necessary that a determination and declaration be
made by the City of Cypress relative to the general prevailing rate
per diem wages in the City of Cypress,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
That it is hereby determined and declared that the general prevailing
rate per diem wages in the City of Cypress and its locality for each craft
classification and type of workmen needed to perform on public works is as
set forth respectively in that certain document entitled "Wage Scales for
the Six Basic Trades" (as corrected to May 1967), a copy of which is
attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A", and that certain document entitled
"Sub -Trades, Hourly Wage Rates of Building and Construction Trades Unions
Affiliated with the Building and Construction Trades Council of Orange
County" (as corrected October 1966), a copy of which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof as Exhibit "B".
Three copies of each of said documents are on file in the City Clerk's
office of said City and are hereby referred to, and by such reference made
a part hereof as though set forth in full; that said copies on file in
said City Clerk's office shall be open for the use and benefit of the public.
That said declaration and determination is made in accordance with
Section 1770 and 1773 of the Labor Code of the State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cypress, at a
regular meeting held on the 10th day of July, 1967.

WAGE SCALES FOR THE SIX BASIC TRADES
The wage rates listed below are in accordance with the terms of the
Southern California Master Labor Agreement for the Construction Industry
and over the following counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernar-
dino, Imperial, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Kern, lnyo and Mono.
ADDITIONAL COST ITEMS: For Subsistence Allowance, Transportation and
travel Time Allowance, Apprentice Program Contributions, Industry Promo -
Tonal Funds, etc., contact the Local Union or its District Council having
jurisdiction.
RIGGERS and WELDERS FOR THE SIX BASIC TRADES: Same wage scales
as crafts to which rigging and welding are incidental.

154 per hour premium pay additional to the regular rate of pay. Tereafter they
shall receive an additional 100 per hour premium to the regular
rate of pay for each additional 20 feet of boom, inc1 AAmg jib.
It is agreed that two or more Engineer Operators will constitute a complete
operating crew on all Tower Crane equipment (American Pecco, Bucyrus Erie,
Mayco-Weitz, Linden and similar types), and they shall receive 450 per hour
premium pay in addition to the applicable Universal Equipment Operator's
rate of pay (Long Boom premium shall not apply to this equipment).
Operators on all hoisting equipment with three drums or more, shall re-
ceive 150 per hour premium pay additional to the regular rate of pay.
Combination Mixes and Compressor Operator on Ganite Work shall be
classified as Concrete Mobile Mixer Operators.
Operators on equipment with scrapers or dragtype shovels in tandem shall
receive premium pay of $1.00 per hour above the regular rate, other types of
tandems excluding compactors, 500 per hour premium.
The necessity for the use of an employee as a Signalman shall bed ter-
med by the Contractor. When used, he shall be an Engineer -Oiler, as defined
herein, who assists in giving or relaying signals by mechanical means (also by
