Consideration of Proclaiming the Week of March 14 - 21, 1982, as "Week of the Handicapped." Recommendation: That the Mayor and City Council officially proclaim the week of March 14 - 21, 1982, as the "Week of the Handicapped" in the City of Cypress as requested. 10. Consideration of Acceptance of Weed Abatement of Season and Recurring Weeds and Assessment for Weed and Rubbish Abatement for Phase I for the 1981-82 Program. CITY COUNCIL AGENDA January 25, 1982 CONSENT CALENDAR(Continued): Recommendation: That the City Council: 1) Accept the work of weed and rubbish abatement as being satisfactorily completed in accordance with the specifications for the work, and 2) Adopt the Resolution by title only, title as follows, confirming weed abatement assessments and impo- sing special assessments as a lien on the parcels shown on Exhibit "A". A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Cypress Confirming the Report of Costs of Abatement of Weeds, Rubbish, Refuse and Dirt Public Nuisances and Imposing Special Assessments as Liens on Parcels Within the City of Cypress. 11. Consideration of Employment List - Associate Planner. 12. 13. Recommendation: That the City Council certify the employment list for the position of Associate Planner as submitted. Consideration of Acceptance of Final Parcel Map #81-1141, Cypress Land Company, Katella Avenue, South Side Between Valley View Street and Holder Street. Recommendation: That the City Council approve Final Parcel Map #81-1141 and accept the letter of credit for public improvements in the amount of $159,600.00 which is not less than 50% nor more than 100% of the total improvements and authorize the City Clerk to sign the record map. Consideration of Sublease Between the City of Cypress and the Cypress Teachers' Association for Use of a Classroom at the Oxford Facility. Recommendation: That the City Council approve the sublease between the CityofCypress and the Cypress Teachers' Association for Use of a Classroom at the Oxford Facility. 14. Consideration of Rental Agreement for 5452 Wicker Drive. 15. Recommendation: That the City Council approve the rental agreement for 5452 Wicker Drive as outlined in the report and authorize the City Manager to execute. Consideration of Preliminary Report for the Cypress Lighting District No. 2, 1982. Recreation and Park District Matters: 16. Consideration of Publicity Program for Ordinance Prohibiting Glass Containers. Recommendation: That the City Council, acting as the ex-officio governing Board of Directors for the Cypress Recreation and Park District, approve the methods of publicizing the prohibition of glass and other park rules and regulations. 17. Consideration of Facility Name. Recommendation: That the City Council, acting as the ex-officio governing Board of Directors for the Cypress Recreation and Park District, ratify the Recreation and Community Services Commission's recommendation and adopt the name of "Cypress Cultural Arts Center" for the newly-acquired facility. 18. Consideration of New Activity Classes and Fees for the Spring Session. Recommendation: That the City Council, acting as the ex-officio governing Board of Directors for the Cypress Recreation and Park District, ratify the recommendation of the Recreation and Community Services Commission and accept the new spring classes and fees as outlined in the report.
