AWARD OF CONTRACT:

Consideration of Award of Contract for the Construction of Reinforced
Concrete Drain Box at the Maintenance Yard, City of Cypress Project
No. 8226-90.
CONSENT CALENDAR:
All matters listed on the agenda under "Consent Calendar" are to be considered
by the City Council to be routine and will be enacted by one motion approving
the recommendations listed on the agenda.
3. Motion to Introduce and/or Adopt All Ordinances Presented For Considera-
tion by Title Only and to Waive Further Reading.
4. Consideration of Proclaiming the Period of April 18 - 25, 1982, as
"Days of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holocaust."
Recommendation: That the Mayor and City Council officially proclaim the
period of April 18 - 25, 1982, as "Days of Remembrance of the Victims
of the Holocaust."
Consideration of Fiscal Year of 1981/82 Arterial Highway Financing Program
Administration Agreement AHFP #1053, Cerritos Avenue From Walker Street
to 600' East of Valley View Street, Certification of Right-of-Way and
No Parking Resolution, City of Cypress Project No. 8013-10.
Recommendation: That the City Council 1) Approve the Administrative
Agreement for AHFP Project #1053, Cerritos Avenue from Walker Street
to 600' east of Valley View Street, and authorize the Mayor to sign
the Agreement and the City Clerk to attest; 2) Authorize the Mayor
to sign the right-of-way certification and the City Clerk to attest;
and 3) Adopt the Resolution by title only, title as follows, establish-
ing "No Parking" areas:
a. A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Cypress
Establishing "No Parking" Areas.
Consideration of Plans and Specifications and Authorization to Advertise
for Bids on Cerritos Avenue From Walker Street to 600' East of Valley
View Street, City of Cypress Project No. 8013-10, AHFP No. 1053.
Recommendation: That the City Council approve the Plans and Specifica-
tions for improvements of Cerritos Avenue from Walker Street to 600'
east of Valley View Street, AHFP No. 1053, Project No. 8013-10, and
authorize the City Clerk to advertise for bids with bid opening date
to be set after receipt of approval from the County of Orange.

7. Consideration of Recommendations of Traffic Commission Meeting of
February 16, 1982.
Recommendation: That the City Council approve the recommendations
of the Traffic Commission as outlined in the report and adopt the
Resolution by title only, title as follows:
A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Cypress
Establishing "No Parking" Areas. (Valley View Street East Side
from Lincoln Avenue to 250' South of Lincoln Avenue and Orange
Avenue South Side from Via Entrada to 50' West of Via Entrada.)
8. Consideration of Status Report on the Emissions From the Texaco Tank
Farm.
Recommendation: Receive and file.
9. Consideration of Report on the L.S.D. Alert.
Recommendation: Receive and file.
10. Consideration of Renewal of Service Agreement for Telephone Equipment
Maintenance.
Recommendation: That the City Council authorize staff to enter into
a per call maintenance agreement with the ITT Company for the period
from April 4, 1982 to March 31, 1983 as outlined in the report.

Consideration of an Application for Alcoholic Beverage License Transfer
Filed by John Clemens and Joseph N. Testone, D.B.A. The Timber Inn,
6395 W. Ball Road, Cypress.
Recommendation: Receive and file.
12. Consideration of Acceptance of Final Tract Map No. 10740 (Orange Avenue,
South Side, East of Grindlay Street).
13.
Recommendation: That the City Council approve Final Tract Map No. 10740
and accept the bonds for public improvements in the amount of $13,600.00,
which is not less than 50% nor more than 100% of the total improvements
and authorize the City Clerk to sign the record map.
Consideration of Attendance to the Cable '82 Conference on May 3 - 5,
1982, in Las Vegas.
Recommendation: That the City Council authorize the attendance of the
Assistant to the City Manager to attend the 31st Annual Convention
and Exposition, Cable '82 Conference sponsored by the National Cable
Television Association on May 3 - 5, 1982, in Las Vegas and be
reimbursed for all actual and necessary expenses.
