Resolution No. 1675RESOLUTION NO. 1675 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS APPROVING AN IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR LINCOLN AVENUE WITHIN PUBLIC RICHT-OF-WAY WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of May 29, 1975, unanimously adopted the Lincoln Avenue Study Phase II report as a Specific Plan for the improvement and revitalization of Lincoln Avenue; and WHEREAS, in a concomitant action, the City Council requested the Lincoln Avenue Action Committee to make specific recommendations relative to improvements along Lincoln Avenue; and WHEREAS the Lincoln Avenue Action Committee presented its recommendations to the City Council at its meeting of January 12, 1976; and WHEREAS, the City Council, at the conclusion of discussion on the proposed improvement program made the following determination: That the 12 -foot parkway area located between the curb face and the front lot line of adjacent properties along both sides of Lincoln Avenue shall be improved to a sidewalk width of six feet as measured from the face of the curb with the remaining six feet between sidewalk and property line to be improved with landscaping, and sprinkler systems in conjunction with all new developments along Lincoln Avenue. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cypress, at a regular meeting held on the 12th day of January, 1976.
