RESOLUTION NO. 1777
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS
MAKING PROVISIONS OF THE VEHICLE CODE APPLICABLE TO
PRIVATELY OWNED AND MAINTAINED ROADS WITHIN LINCOLN
CENTER MOBILE HOME PARK.
WHEREAS, this City Council has heretofore received a petition
requesting the City Council of the City of Cypress to adopt a resolution
making the provisions of the Vehicle Code of the State of California
applicable to the privately owned and maintained roads within the
Lincoln Center Mobile Home Park; and
WHEREAS, said petition was signed by all of the owners of such
privately owned and maintained roads; and
WHEREAS, all of said owners have waived written notice of hearing; and
WHEREAS, this City Council has held a public hearing concerning the
matters requested in the aforesaid petition and has heard and considered
all evidence relative thereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Cypress hereby does
find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1:
The recitals set forth hereinabove, and each of them, are
true and correct.
Section 2.
The privately owned and maintained roads within the Lincoln
Center Mobile Home Park, which park is described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and by this reference incorporated herein as though set forth at
length, are generally not held open for use of the public for purposes
of vehicular travel, but by reason of their proximity to or connection
with highways the interests of the residents residing along such roads and
the interests of the motoring public will best be served by the application
of the provisions of the Vehicle Code of the State of California to
such roads.
Section 3.
The Director of Public Works of the City of Cypress hereby is
authorized and directed to erect appropriate signs at the entrance to
the Lincoln Center Mobile Home Park of such size, shape and color as to
be readily legible during daylight hours from a distance of One Hundred
Feet (100 ft.) to the effect that the roads in said mobile home park
are subject to the provisions of the Vehicle Code of the State of California.
Section 4.
Pursuant to the provisions of Vehicle Code Section 21107.7, the
provisions of said Code shall apply to the aforementioned roads upon
the erection of the signs authorized in Section 3 hereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cypress at a
regular meeting held on the 12th day of October 1976.

That certain real property situated in the City of Cypress,
County of Orange, State of California, containing ten (10)
acres, more or less, described as follows:
The West Half of the West Half of the
Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter
of Section 17, Township 4 South, Range 11
West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, City of
Cypress, County of Orange, State of Calif-
ornia, as per Map recorded in Book 51,
page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the of-
fice of the County Recorder of said County.
PARCEL II
That certain real property in the City of Cypress, County of
Orange, State of California containing twenty (20) acres, more
or less, described as follows:
The East Half of the Northwest Quarter
of the Northwest Quarter of Section 17,
Township 4 South, Range 11 West, San
Bernardino Base and Meridian.
