Resolution No. 1817�s/ RESOLUTION NO. 1817 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS REQUESTING THE COUNTY OF ORANGE TO INCREASE THE ALLOCATION OF FUNDS TOWARD THE ARTERIAL HIGHWAY FINANCING PROGRAM FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF LINCOLN AVENUE FROM MOODY STREET TO LOS ALTOS DRIVE, AHFP PROJECT 11800 WHEREAS, the City of Cypress desires to improve Lincoln Avenue from Moody Street to Los Altos Drive, and WHEREAS, Lincoln Avenue is an important traffic artery in the County of Orange and is of County wide importance, and WHEREAS, the Cypress City Council finds that an additional allocation of County Arterial Highway funds, in the amount of $28,000.00 is necessary to pro- ceed with said improvement project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Cypress that said Council hereby requests the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange to increase the allocation to said City from County funds, said amount to be matched by funds from said City, to be used to assist said City in the improvement of Lincoln Avenue from Moody Street to Los Altos Drive, AHFP 11800, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that by this resolution, the City Council of the City of Cypress hereby expresses its agreement with the basic concepts of the Arterial Highway Financing Program and further agrees that monies constituting the share of the City of Cypress toward the cost of said improvements is immediately available. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cypress, at an adjourned regular meeting held on the 17th day of January, 1977.
