HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 25RESOLUTION NO. 25 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DAIRY CITY DECLARIN:r THE CITY COUNCIL'S INTENTION TO ASSUME THE DUTIES OF A PLANNING COMMISSION WITH REGARD TO LAND USE ZONING AND PLANNING. WHEREAS, Dairy City, since its incorporation, has been using the Orange County Planning Commission to handle preliminary proceedings on matters affecting land use and zoning within the City; and WHEREAS, it is the mutual desire of the City Council of Dairy City and the Orange County Planning Commission that this arrangement be terminated and that Dairy City handle its own land use matters; and WHEREAS, the City Council of Dairy City does not desire, at this time, to establish its own planning commission; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: 1. That, effective 12:00 o'clock P. M. on June 30, 1957, the Orange County Planning Commission will cease to handle matters for the City of D;iry City as though it were in fact the City Planning Commission of such City; 2. That, commencing with the first day of July, 1957, all matters affecting land use and zoning within the City of Dairy City shall be handled by the City Council thereof, acting as its own planning commission and in place and stead thereof; 3. That the City Council of Dairy City hereby expresses its appreciation to the Orange County Planning Commission for its services rendered to this City.
