A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS,
CALIFORNIA, EMPLOYING A MUNICIPAL CONSULTANT, DESIGNATING
SAID CONSULTANT AS THE ACTING CITY MANAGER OF CYPRESS,
CALIFORNIA AND FIXING HIS COMPENSATION.
WH3EAS, the City Council of Cypress has heretofore
suspended Mr. Burton Wesenberg as City Manager of Cypress, in
accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 19 of said
City, and,
WHEREAS, it becomes necessary to employ the services of a
qualified Administrator to discharge the duties of City Manager
of the City of Cypress pending a permanent appointment of a
City Manager,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Cypress that the Mayor be, and he is hereby authorized
to execute on behalf of said City a contract for the employment of
the services of Fred D. Harber
as a special consultant to the City Council of the City of Cypress
and that
r. Fred D. Harber be and he is hereby
designated as Acting City Manager, that such employment be at the
pleasure of the Council, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said contract provide for the
payment by the City of Cypress to Mr. Fred D. Harber
for services rendered under said contract at the rate not in
excess of a1 000 .00 per month.
PASSED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cypress,
California on this 19th day of September, 1960.
