"'''i1��1 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS
COMMENDING BOY SCOUT ROBERT SENTER ON ACHIEVING THE RANK
OF EAGLE SCOUT.
WHEREAS, Bob Senter, 14 years of age, began his scouting career in 1969
when he joined the Weblos; and
WHEREAS, Bob, who attends Oxford Junior High School and who has been a
resident of Cypress for the past nine years, is a member of Boy Scout Troop
No. 681; and
WHEREAS, a total of 21 merit badges have been earned by Bob, including
the Camel Back Hiking Award, Coin Collecting, Home Repairs, Lifesaving, Citizen-
ship in the Community, Citizenship in the Nation, Personal Fitness and Conserva-
tion of Natural Resources; and
WHEREAS, Bob is a member of the Order of the Arrow, an honorary scouting
organization; and
WHEREAS, the Eagle rank, which is the highest rank in scouting, has
recently been earned by Bob Senter; and
WHEREAS, the Cypress City Council deems it a special privilege to have
a Boy Scout of Bob's caliber in the City of Cypress; and
WHEREAS, a Court of Honor is to be held on February 6, 1974 to recognize
the achievement of Bob in earning the rank of Eagle Scout.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Cypress
to commend Eagle Scout Bob Senter on the achievement of the highest rank in
the Boy Scouts of America.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cypress at a regular
meeting held on the 28th day of January , 1974.
