LINDEBOOM CURB AND GUTTER QUESTION
The City Manager discussed at some length the problem which was
facing the City in regard to who was to pay what for City engi-
neering, designing and staking for curbs and gutters along the
front of the Lindeboom drive-in dairy on Miller Street. It was
also discussed at length with the Lindebooms present at the
Council meeting on who would pay for construction of a concrete
box and for relocation of the present northeast inlet on the Carbon
Creek Channel crossing Miller Street immediately south of the
Lindeboom property, After much discussion the Council decided
that the City would continue to work with the Orange County Flood
Control District to attempt to have them pay for the construction
of the concrete inlet box and relocation of the inlet pipe, Upon
motion of Councilman Arrowood, seconded by Councilman Baroldi and
unanimously carried, the City Manager was authorized to send a
letter to the Orange County Building Department authorizing the
Building Department to issue final "use and occupancy" on the
Lindeboom drive-in dairy building, with the provision that Eize
Lindeboom place a bona or cash with the City of Cypress in an
amount to be stipulated by the Cypress City Engineer., covering the
construction cost of concrete curb and gutter along the front of
the Lindeboom drive-in dairy installation in accordance with the
variance which they received from the City of Cypress, and that,
the City should pay all costs involved in surveying for grade,
