FERTILIZER PLANT
There came before the Council a citizen, Mr Garcia, seeking a
variance permit to operate a fertilizer plant There followed die..
cussion as to whether there was sufficient storage room at the site
of the proposed fertilizer plant, the signatures on the petition be-
ing those of people not residing within Dairy City and the necessity
of obtaining signatures from bona fide residents, in the future;
Mr Garcia's willingness to invest sufficient money in order to com-
ply with the requirements of air polution control. Mr Garcia stated
that he could provide sufficient storage room and that he intended
to provide the necessary means to comply with the air polution control

it was thought that one yearts permit would be too short a time

van Leeuwen, and unanimously carried, that a variance permit to operate
e fertilizer plant within the city limits of the City of Dairy City
be granted to Mr Garcia for a reriod of two (2) years, upon condition
