OF NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DAIRY CITY
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS•
That we, the undersigned, being all the Councilmen by
mutual consent and understanding beforehand, hereby consent to
hold a special meeting of the Council of said City at the Dairy
City City Hall on the 4th day of March, 1957, at the hour of
1 30 P i•' of said day, and we agree that all of the acts and
proceedings of said meeting shall be as valid as if had or
taken at a meeting duly and regularly called and noticed
b:e further waive all notice of the time, place, and pur-
pose of said meeting, whether required by the laws or otherwise

MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF DAIRY CITY
March 4, 1957
Council met in special session at 1 30 o'clock P i'i., at the City
Hall, 9352 'walker Street, Dairy City, California i'ieeting was
called to order by IMayor Van Dyke.
Councilmen present Arrowood, Baroldi, Van Dyke, and Van Leeuwen
Councilmen absent Arnold
City officials present City Clerk Olsthoorn and City Manager -
Deputy Clerk 'Jesenberg
Reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was waived
DRILLING
INSURANCE
The City Manager presented the following insurance for the oil
drilling operation of Vaughn and Associates (Use Variance No
3269) and submitted by the latter `'or Council approval
Faithful Performance Bond No 3018420
Policy Nos PIM 31467 and PM 31468, for Third
Party Property Damage, with the Pacific
Marine Insurance Agency
Public Liability and Automobile Liability
Policy No AGC 505585 with the Western
Casualty and Surety Company
Workmen's Compensation Policy Ko. P 23304-7
with the Zenith National Insurance Company
Upon motion of Councilman Arrowood, seconded by Councilman Baroldi,
and unanimously carried the foregoing insurance and bond were
approved and accepted, on condition that the Insurance agencies
involved authorize the City to attach the Use Variance number to
each certificate of insurance.
AMENDMENT TO
LAND USE ORDINANCE
There followed a discussion on amending the Land Use Ordinance
as to the number of cows per acre It was agreed that the number
should be set at 20 cows per acre and that the amendment to the

Land Use Ordinance should be retroactive to 1953 The matter
then was tabled until the next regular meeting
CITY STREETS
There followed a discussion of the condition of the City streets,
the need for repairs and possible future improvements
ADJOUHNMENT
There being no further business, the meeting was duly adjourned
until the next regular meeting
