OF NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DAIRY CITY
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS
That we, the undersigned, being all the Councilmen, by
mutual consent and understanding beforehand, hereby consent to
hold a special meeting of the Council of said City at the Dairy
City City Hall on the 27th day of May, 1957, at the hour of
7 30 P. M of said day, and we agree that all of the acts and
proceedings of said meeting shall be as valid as if had or
taken at a meeting duly and regularly called and noticed
We further waive all notice of the time, place, and
purpose of said meeting, whether required by the laws or
otherwise

MINUTES OF MEETING OF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF DAIRY CITY
May 27, 1957
A special meeting of the City Council of Dairy City, California,
was called to order at 7 30 P. M., in the Dairy City City Hall,
by Vice Mayor Arnold
Councilmen present. Arnold, Baroldi, Arrowood, and Van Leeuwen
Councilman absent Van Dyke
Officers present City Manager -Deputy City Clerk Wesenberg
MINUTES
Upon motion of Councilman Arrowood, seconded by Councilman Van
Leeuwen, and unanimously carried, the minutes of the previous
meeting were dispensed with.
WEED ABATEMENT RESOLUTION
Upon motion of Councilman Baroldi, seconded by Councilman
Arrowood, and unanimously carried, Resolution No 22, a resolution
of the City Council of the City of Dairy City giving notice to
proceed with weed abatement, was adopted
FERTILIZER STORAGE
There was a discussion regarding the advisability of allowing a
fertilizer storage area to be placed immediately behind Jake Van
Leeuwen's property and at the end of the private ros'I immediately
south of the City Hall It was the feeling of the Council that
this was not the proper place for a fertilizer storage area.
PLANNING COMMISSION
Upon motion of Councilman Baroldi, seconded by Councilman Ar-
rowood, and unanimously carried, it was ordered that the City
take over its own planning commission activities at the termina-
tion of the City's present contract with the County The City
Manager was further instructed to obtain technical assistance
from the County regarding planning, if this is at all possible
The Council excused Councilman Baroldi in order that he

SALVAGE YARD FENCE
After discussion and a report by the Committee appointed at the
last meeting, which report indicated that the first three corner
posts of the fence encircling the White salvage yard at the
corner of Moody and Orange be removed and the fence be replaced
in a straight line, cutting across the corner It was moved by
Councilman Van Leeuwen seconded by Councilman Arrowood and
unanimously carried, that the City Manager should so inform
Nr White, regarding the feelings of the Council on this fence
question, and that the City Council would inspect the corner at
a later date.
WATER QUESTION
After considerable discussion reo:arding the overflow of barn
water onto the public right-of-way and the ponding of said
water in the pasture of the Carl Allen Dairy, it was decided
and authorized upon motion of Councilman Arrowood, seconded by
Councilman Van Leeuwen, and unanimously carried, that the City
Manager should inform Mr Cf, -.1 Allen that, if the serious barn
water situation we.s not properly corrected by the time of the
next meeting, that he was expected to appear before the City
Council to explain why the situation had not been corrected.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the special Council meeting
was duly adjourned until the next regular meeting
