OF NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS
KNOW ALL NEN BY THESE PRESENTS
That we, the undersigned, being all the Councilmen, by
mutual consent and understanding beforehand, hereby consent to
hold a special meeting of the Council of said City at the
Cypress City Hall on the 13th day of February, 1958, at the
hour of 12.30 P M of said day, and we agree that all of the
acts and proceedings of said meeting shall be as valid as if
had or taken at a meeting duly and regularly called and
noticed
We further waive all notice of the time, place, and
purpose of said meeting, whether required by the laws or
otherwise

MINUTES OF THE MEETING
OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CYPRESS
February 13, 1958
A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Cypress
was called to order at 12.30 o'clock P. M. in the City Hall,
9352 Walker Street, with Mayor Van Dyke presiding
Councilmen present W J Arrowood, T A. Baroldi, J. Van
Dyke, and J Van Leeuwen
Councilman absent. A. E. Arnold
City officials present City Clerk Olsthoorn and City Manager -
Deputy City Clerk Weseriberg
It was moved by Councilman Van Leeuwen, seconded by Councilman
Baroldi and unanimously carried, that the reading of the minutes
of the last meeting be waived
RF,LIEF PATROLMAN
Mr Blanchard R Woodill was introduced to the Council as a
candidate for the position of relief patrolman to work three
shifts a week It was moved by Councilman Arrowood, seconded
by Councilman Van Leeuwen and unanimously carried, that it
Woodill be appointed as Relief Patrolman
ELECTION OFFICERS
The City Manager presented a resolution, No 51, naming the
officers of the election board for the general municipal
election to be held on April 8, 1958. It was moved by Council-
man Van Leeuwen, seconded by Councilman Arrowood and unanimously
carried, that Resolution No 51 be adopted.
PUBLIC HEARING DATE
The City Manager reported that no space was available either in
the Cypress Elementary School Auditorium or in the Cypress Park
Recreation Building on the evening of February 25 He stated
that the Recreation Building would be available for the evening
of February 28 It was moved by Councilman Arrowood, seconded
by Councilman Van Leeuwen and unanimously carried, that the
minute order of February 10, setting the date and place of

the public hearing on the zoning ordinance and the precise land
use maps, be rescinded It was moved by Councilman Van Leeuwen,
seconded by Councilman Arrowood and unanimously carried, that
the new date and place for the said public hearing be on Friday,
February 28, 1958, at 7'30 o'clock P I°i., in the Cypress Park
Recreation Building
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council, it
was moved by Councilman Van Leeuwen, seconded by Councilman
Baroldi, and unanimously carried, that the meeting be adjourned
