3. Consideration of Police Vehicle Replacement.
CONSENT CALENDAR:
All matters listed on the agenda under "Consent Calendar" are to be considered
by the City Council to be routine and will be enacted by one motion approving
the recommendations listed on the agenda.
4. Motion to Introduce and/or Adopt All Ordinances Presented for Considera-
tion by Title Only and to Waive Further Reading.
5. Consideration of Request for the Katella Avenue Corridor Study.
Recommendation: That the City Council authorize Mayor Lacayo to contact
the Mayors of the Cities of Los Alamitos, Stanton, Anaheim, and Garden
Grove in an effort to gain their support for the Katella Avenue Corridor
Study.
6. Consideration of Application for Leave to File Late Claim Submitted by
Sam Silverstein, Attorney, On Behalf of Harry Gomez.
Recommendation: That the City Council deny the Application for Leave to
File Late Claim and reject the Claim for Damages Filed by Sam Silverstein,
Attorney, on behalf of Harry Gomez.
7. Consideration of Proclaiming January 17 - 23, 1983, as "Weekend With the
Stars Telethon for Cerebral Palsy Week".
Recommendation: That the Mayor and City Council officially proclaim
January 17 - 23, 1983, as "Weekend With the Stars Telethon for
Cerebral Palsy Week" in the City of Cypress.
8. Consideration of Authorization for the Chief of Police to Attend the
1983 California Police Chiefs' Annual Conference.
Recommendation: That the City Council authorize the attendance of Police
Chief, Ronald E. Lowenberg, to the 1983 California Police Chiefs' Annual
Conference in Burlingame, California from February 2 - 5, 1983, and be
reimbursed for all actual and necessary expenses incurred.

Schatzeder, as the City official to authorize corrections/cancellations
to the tax roll for the weed abatement special assessments.

Cities.
Recommendation: That the City Council authorize the attendance of the
City Manager to the 1983 City Managers Department Meeting sponsored
by the League of California Cities to be held in Monterey, California,
on February 16 - 18, 1983, and be reimbursed for all actual and neces-
sary expenses incurred.
Consideration of Street Name Changes Within the Cypress Business Park
(Katella/Valley View).
Recommendation: That the City Council adopt the Resolution by title only,
title as follows, authorizing the change in the street names of Chip
Avenue within Parcel Map 124/5-6 to Plaza Drive and of Dana Way within
Parcel Map 79-1104 to Yamaha Way.

by the Cities of San Clemente and Tustin and that an appropriate letter
of support be sent to the Orange County Transportation Commission in
support of the Tri-Counties Rail Co~ittee becoming the lead agency
and, further, direct the City's voting delegate to the Orange County
Division of the League to vote in support of the City of Tustin's
Resolution.
