An adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Cypress was called to order in the City Hall, 9352 Walker
Street, at 7.30 o'clock P M with Mayor Van Dyke presiding
Councilmen present A. E. Arnold, W. J. Arrowood, T A Baroldi,
N. C. McCarney, and J Van Dyke
Councilmen absent* None
City officials present Deputy -City Clerk -City Manager Wesenberg,
City Attorney Howell
,UARTE.1LY AUDIT REPORT
The report of the City's auditors for the first quarter of the
fiscal year 1958-59 was discussed by the Council and was ordered
to be received and filed.
BUDGET ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
Upon motion of Councilman_ Arnold, seconded by Councilman Arrowood
and unanimously carried, it was moved that Budget Amendment
Ordinance No. 50 be read by title only Upon motion of Council-
man Arnold, seconded by Councilman Arrowood and unanimously
carried, Budget Ordinance No. 50 was unanimously adopted on the
following roll call vote*
AYES* Councilmen Arrowood, Arnold, Baroldi,
McCarney, and Van Dyke
NOES: None
ABSENT None
RE-APPLICATION FOR COUNTY FUNDS
Upon motion of Councilman Arnold, seconded by Councilman Baroldi
and unanimously carried, Resolution No 78 requesting the County
of Orange for additional Gas Tax Road Improvement Funds for the
1959-60 fiscal year, was unanimously adopted
CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT
The City Attorney reported to the Council that the City was no
longer involved in any of our Lawrence Annexation law suits
with the exception of the Van Leeuwen suit. He stated that he

expected this suit to be dropped also. And he also stated
that he had hopes that the City would not have to go to the
expense of having a special election in March of next year
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the Council meeting was duly
adjourned until the next regular meeting. Adjournment. 8.00 P.I.
