AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS IMPOSING
CURFEWS ON PERSONS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS
Section 1
No person under 18 years of age shall remain or be in or on
any public street, alley, park or other public place between the
hours of 11 00 o'clock P M and 5 00 o'clock A M unless accom-
panied by a parent, guardian or other person having a legal cus-
tody and control of such minor, or is in the performance of a
duty directed by such parent or guardian, or is engaged in an eia-
ployment which makes it necessary to be then in or upon the streets
alleys, parks orether public places
Section 2.
No parent guardian or other adult person having the care,
custody and control of any minor under the age of 18 years shall
allow or permit such minor to be in violation of Section 1 above
Section 3
Violation of this ordinance is a misdemeanor punishable by a
fine of Five Hundred Dollars ($500 00), or by imprisonment in the
County Jail for a period of not more than six (6) months, or by
both such fine and imprisonment

ress at a regular meeting held the 8th day of December, 1958
