Ordinance No. 10ORDINANCE NO 10 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED "VESSELS ANNEXATION," TO THE CITY OF DAIRY CITY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DAIRY CITY WHEREAS, on the 11t111 day of September, 1956, the Council o1 the City of Dairy City did pass and adopt Resolution No. 4 giving notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of Dairy City, said territory being therein designated as "Vessels Annexation," said Resolution describing the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed, and WHEREAS, said Resolution No .- did contain a notice of the day, hour and place when and where the Council of the City would hear protests made by any person owning real property within the territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing being not less than fifteen nor more than fifty days from the date of passage of said Resolution, and WHEREAS, on the 29th day of October, 1956, at the hour of 7.30 o'clock P. H. , in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Dairy City, County of Orange, State of California, said time and place being the day, hour and place fixed in said resolu- tion No. for hearing protests to the said annexation, the said City Council met to hear and pass upon all protests, but no protests were made to the proposed annexation, and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Dairy City, and is uninhabited territory in the County of Orange; NOW, THEREFORE, the said Council of the City of Dairy City does hereby approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter described to the City of Dairy City, and does hereby further ordain that the said territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of Dairy City That said territory, the annexation of which to the City of Dairy City is herein approved, is all that territory situate in the County of Orange, State of California, more particularly described Ordinance No 10 as follows Beginning at the intersection of the South line of the Citi- of Dairy City, said South line being the Southerly right-of-way line of the Southern Pacific Railroad, sixty feet in width, with the North and South one-quarter Section line of Section 20, T 4 S., R 11 W , San Bernardino Meridian, thence Easterly, along the South line of the City of Dairy City and the South line of the Southern Pacific Railroad right- of-way, to the North and South one-quarter Section line running through the center of Section 21, said Township and Range, thence Southerly, along said one-quarter Section line, to a line parallel with and 40 00 feet Northerly, measured at right antes, from the South line of said Sections 21 and 20, said parallel line being the Northerly right-of-way line of Katella Avenue, eighty feet in width, thence Westerly, along said parallel line and said Northerly right-of-way line, to the first mentioned North and South one-quarter Section line running through the center of said Section 20, thence Northerly, along said North and South one-quarter Section line, to the Southerly right-of-way line of the Southern Pacific Railroad and the City of Dairy City and the point of beginning ADOPTED THIS ,13th DAY OF NOVEMBE i, 1956, by the following vote AYES Councilmen Arnold, Arrowood, and Van Dyke NOES- None ABSENT Councilmen Baroldi and Van Leeuwen ATTEST Dar n • s :orn, er of the Council Ordinance No 10 Jacob Van Dyke, Mayor,%of the City of Dairy City, California STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) COUNTY OF 0tRANGE ) ss CITY OF DAIRY CITY ) I, Martin Olsthoorn, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of the Council of the City of Dairy City, California, that the fore - adjourned going Ordinance was regularly introduced at the/egular meeting of said Council held on the 29th day of October, 1956, and was again reconsidered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 13th day of November, 1956, and was at said second meeting regularly passed and adopted by said Council by the following vote, to wit.
