AN INTERIM ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 90 THE ZONING ORDINANCE, BY AMENDING
THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS TO INCLUDE
ADDITIONAL TERRITORY AND TO PLACE SUCH TERRITORY IN
AN H -C (HGIHWAY COMMERCIAL) ZONE AND C-3 (COMMERCIAL
MANUFACTURING) ZONE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS
SECTION I. Ordinance No. 90 the Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Cypress is amended hereby to amend the 'Zoning Map of the City of Cypress
to include the territory described in Section II IV AND V hereof and to
place such territory in the H -C (Highway Commercial) and C-3 (Commercial
Manufacturing) Zone.
SECTION II This Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure
enacted as a temporary interim zoning ordinance under the provisions of
Section 65806 of the Government Code of California, to be effective
immediately for a period of six months after adoption. The facts constituting
the urgency are: That such territory has been annexed to the City the
Department of Planning is conducting and intends to conduct studies within
a reasonable time for the purpose of holding a hearing for the purpose of
recommending to the City Council the adoption of a zoning ordinance for such
territory and this ordinance will prohibit any uses which may be in conflict
with such zoning ordinance
SECTION III The property to be zoned C-3 (Commercial Manufacturing)
Zone is described as follows
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 65 Tract 3618 as
recorded in Miscellaneous Maps Book 131 pages 1 2 and 3 in the
County of Orange; thence northerly along the easterly boundary of
said tract a distance of 699 60' thence easterly a distance of
330 thence southerly 594 thence westerly 110' thence southerly
105 60 thence westerly 220' to the true point of beginning
SECTION IV The property to be zoned H -C (Highway Commercial) Zone
is described as follows
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 65 Tract 3618 as
recorded in Miscellaneous Maps Book 131 pages 1 2 and 3, in the
County of Orange, thence southerly 224 40 thence easterly 960
thence northerly 169 02 thence westerly 76.55 thence
southerly 35 00' thence westerly 100.00' thence northerly 90 38
thence westerly 453.45 thence northerly 106 thence westerly
110 thence southerly 106 thence westerly 220 to the true
point of beginning.
SECTION V The property to be zoned C-3 (Commercial Manufacturing)
Zone is described as follows
Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 12 Tract 929 recorded
in Miscellaneous Maps, Book 31 page 45 in the County of Orange,
thence northerly 77 53 thence northwesterly parallel to the
Pacific Electric Railway right-of-way a distance of 787 98 thence
south parallel to the east line of Tract 3618 as recorded in
Miscellaneous Maps, Book 131 pages 1 2 and 3 in Orange County a
distance of 982 thence easterly 453.45 thence southerly 90 38
thence easterly 100 thence northerly 35 thence easterly 76.55
thence northerly 577 55 to the true point of beginning.
Containing 24 048 acres.
