A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS,
CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE SUBMISSION TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS
OF SAID CITY OF A CERTAIN MEASURE RELATING TO THE APPORTION—
MENT OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA SALES AND USE TAX AT THE
GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON APRIL 8, 1980,
HERETOFORE CALLED BY RESOLUTION NO. 2177 OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS

WHEREAS, a general municipal election of April 8, 1980 for the election
of members of the City Council of the City of Cypress, has been heretofore
called by Resolution No 2177, adopted the 10th day of December 1979; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Cypress also desires to submit
to the qualified electors of said City at said election the measure relating
to the apportionment of the State of California Sales and Use Tax, hereinafter
set forth
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS, CALIFORNIA DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 That said City Council, pursuant to its right and authority
so to do, does hereby determine that there shall be and there is hereby ordered
submitted to the qualified electors of said City at said general municipal
election the following question, to wit:

A cross (+) placed in the voting square after the word "YES" in the manner
hereinbefore provided shall be counted in favor of the adoption of the measure.
A cross (+) placed in the voting square after the word "NO" in the manner here—
infore provided shall be counted against the adoption of the measure
SECTION 2 That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption
of this resolution, shall enter the same in the book of original resolutions
of said City, and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in
the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City in the minutes
of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted
SECTION 3 This resolution shall take effect immediately
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cypress at a regular
meeting held on the 14th day of January 1980.
