Resolution No. 2229RESOLUTION NO 2229 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS DECLARING CERTAIN PORTIONS OF THE CYPRESS LIGHTING DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY LOCATED WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS TO BE WITH- DRAWN FROM SAID DISTRICT WHEREAS certain portions of the Cypress Lighting District of Orange County, described hereinafter, are located and included within the boundaries of the City of Cypress, and WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Cypress and the residents of such portions that such portions be withdrawn from the Cypress Lighting District of Orange County, so that street lighting services may be provided therein by the City of Cypress NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Cypress as follows: SECTION 1 That certain territory consisting of portions of the Cypress Lighting District of Orange County located and included within the City of Cypress and more particularly described in Parcel "A", Parcel "B", and Parcel "C', attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, hereby are declared to be and is withdrawn from the Cypress Lighting District of Orange County, pursuant to Section 19290 of the Streets and Highways Code of California SECTION 2. That it hereby is requested that all property acquired for such portions of such District and all encumbered funds be divided between the City of Cypress Lighting District No 2 and the Cypress Lighting District of Orange County, in the manner provided by law SECTION 3 The withdrawal of said territory shall be effective upon the fil- ing of copies of this resolution with the State Board of Equalization, the County Assessor of the County of Orange, and the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange which is the governing body of said District PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cypress, at a regular meeting held on the 12th day of May, 1980 (.40ke, MAiOR ATTEST.
