Resolution No. 2270a1Q—I 032 RESOLUTION NO 2270 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO 80 19 WITH CONDITIONS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS HEREBY FINDS, RESOLVES, DETERMINES AND ORDERS AS FOLLOWS 1 That an Application was filed for a conditional use permit in accordance with the provisions of Section 17 2 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Cypress to establish a manufacturing business which manufactures small metal aircraft components at 5940 Lakeshore Drive 2 That the City Council after proper notice thereof, duly held a public hearing on said Application as provided by law 3 That the City Council hereby finds that a The proposed location of the conditional use is in accord with the objectives of the Zoning Ordinance and the purpose of the zone in which the site is located is To encourage the establishment of compatible industries in areas where it is deemed desirable to provide for limited manufacturing facilities and to establish standards of design and type of use which will enhance the area be in harmony with the objectives of the General Plan and minimize detrimental effects to the public health safety and welfare b The proposed location of the conditional use and the conditions under which it would be operated or maintained will not be detrimental to the public health safety or welfare or be materially injurious to properties or improvements in the vicinity in that (1) The adjacent arterial street has more than adequate capacity to accommodate the projected volumes of pedestrian and vehicular traffic to be generated by this use (2) The design of the project and the conditions of development attached thereto will insure that the project will be compatible with other light industrial uses on adjacent properties and will not interfere with the privacy of residents in the single-family area to the south of the subject property (3) The use is in conformance with the long range objectives of the City as identified in the Land Use Element of the General Plan c The proposed conditional use will comply with each of the applicable provisions of the Zoning Ordinance 4 The City Council DOES HEREBY GRANT said conditional use permit, subject to the conditions attached hereto as Exhibit "A " PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cypress at a regular meeting held on the 28th day of July, 1980 ATTEST CITY LERK OF TH71-714 -17E Com F CYPRESS MAYOR OF THE )/4(44169114fr 1 1 1 STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS Z -7v-)- 03 I, DARRELL ESSEX, City Clerk of the City of Cypress, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted at a regular meeting of the said City Council held on the 28th day of July, 1980 by the following roll call vote AYES 5 COUNCIL MEMBERS. Coronado Lacayo, Mullen, Rowan and Evans NOES 0 COUNCIL MEMBERS None ABSENT 0 COUNCIL MEMBERS- None 2 CITY ERK THE TY OF CYPRESS 03fi EXHIBIT "A" CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO 80 19 -to- .4 ,4 1 The Cypress City Council shall maintain ongoing jurisdiction over the hours of operation of this machine shop with the right to review said business hours to protect the health, safety and welfare of residential properties to the south 2 All industrial operations shall be performed or carried out entirely within a building and operated in such a manner that they do not cause or produce a nuisance to adjacent sites A violation of the Noise Ordinance shall constitute justification for revocation of this Conditional Use Permit 3 No waste material or refuse shall be dumped placed or allowed to remain on the property outside a permanent structure 4 Based on the proposed number of employees and parking lot design, no outside storage shall be permitted 5 All wall and monument signing shall be submitted to the Planning Department for review and approval prior to installation and issuance of Building Permit All signing shall conform to the approved signing program for the Boatman Business Park 6 All applicable permits shall be obtained from the Building Department prior to any alterations or modifications to the permanent structures 7 The number of employees shall not exceed the number of off street parking spaces provided on the subject site 8 All requirements of the Orange County Fire Marshal s Office shall be complied with prior to occupancy of the subject site 9 A Certificate of Occupancy will not be issued in accordance with this use permit until all applicable conditions are met
