RESOLUTION NO 2465
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CYPRESS APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO 81-35 -
WITH CONDITIONS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS HEREBY FINDS, RESOLVES,
DETERMINES, AND ORDERS AS FOLLOWS.
1 That an Application was filed for a conditional use permit in
accordance with the provisions of Section 17 2 of the Zoning Ordinance of
the City of Cypress to establish a liquor store delicatessen and convenience
market at 6153 55 Ball Road
2 That the City Council, after proper notice thereof duly held a
public hearing on said Application as provided by law
3 That the City Council hereby finds that.
a The proposed location of the conditional use in in accord
with the objectives of the Zoning Ordinance and the purpose of the
zone in which the site is located is.
For the location of retail and wholesale commercial activities
b The proposed location of the conditional use and the conditions
under which it would be operated or maintained will not be detrimental
to the public health safety or welfare or be materially injurious to
properties or improvements in the vicinity in that.
(1) The proposed sale of alcoholic beverages is merely a
replacement use for the previous convenience market
which was also licensed to sell alcoholic beverages
(2) Off street parking is more than adequate to accommodate
the customer demand which may be created by this new
land use
c The proposed conditional use will comply with each of the
applicable provisions of the Zoning Ordinance except for approved
variances or adjustments
4 The City Council DOES HEREBY GRANT said conditional use permit
subject to the conditions attached hereto as Exhibit "A "
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cypress at a
regular meeting held on the 14th day of December 1981

CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO 81 35
1 The applicant shall satisfy all necessary requirements of the
State Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control
2 The Cypress City Council shall maintain ongoing jurisdiction
over the hours of operation with the right to review or limit
the hours of operation should this use become detrimental to
surrounding businesses or properties
3 The applicant shall meet all requirements of the Orange County
Fire Marshal's Office, the Orange County Health Department,
and the Cypress Building Department All necessary building
and electrical permits shall be obtained prior to interior
remodeling
4 All signing shall be reviewed and approved by the Community
Development Department prior to installation or issuance of
sign permits
5 A maximum of two (2) video amusement machines may be maintained
and operated on the business premise subject to the Cypress City
Council's future review and restriction in accordance with an
adopted Amusement Arcade Ordinance
6 All applicable conditions of approval shall be complied with
prior to Conditional Use Permit No 81 35 becoming effective
