That the Planning Commission, after proper notice thereof duly held a public hearing on said application as provided by law 3 That the Planning Commission hereby finds that a. Because of special circumstances applicable to the property the strict application of the Zoning Ordinance deprives such property of privileges enjoyed by other property in the vicinity and under identical zoning classification in that The subject dwelling is placed in a non -typical configuration when compared to adjacent properties within the same tract and block. b The Variance as granted and does not constitute a grant of special privileges inconsistent with the limitations upon other properties in the vicinity and zone in which such property is situated in that Neighboring properties currently have additions similar to that proposed by this application even though they existed prior to the effective date of the current Zoning Ordinance. c. The granting of the Variance will not be detrimental to the public health safety or welfare or materially injurious to properties or improvements in the vicinity in that The surrounding neighbors have consented to this application since a single -story addition would be less detrimental to their property value than a two-story room addition. 4 The Planning Commission does hereby GRANT said Variance PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Cypress at a regular meeting held on the 17th day of August 1978. -'— CH IRMAN OF TH PLANNINGCOMMISSION O OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS ATTEST SECRET Y OF HE PL NNING C OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS SSION STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) SS COUNTY OF ORANGE ) I BRIAN HAWLEY Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City of Cypress DO HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted at a regular meeting of the said Planning Commission held on the 17th day of August 1978, by the following roll -call vote AYES 3 COMMISSIONERS Mullen Partin and Van Allen NOES 2 COMMISSIONERS Adler and Friedmann ABSENT 0 COMMISSIONERS None SECRETA OF T E PL ING CO 'i IISSION OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS RESOLUTION NO 843 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF ZONE CHANGE NO 78-8 WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Cypress held a public hearing to consider a proposed zone change which would provide for a change in zone classification for various lots fronting along Walker Street generally located between Lincoln Avenue and Karen Street and WHEREAS the proposal involves changing the classification of various parcels from the CN Commercial Neighborhood Zone to the CG -10000 Commercial General Zone the rezoning of other parcels from the RS -6000 Residential Single Family Zone to the CG -10000 Commercial General Zone and rezoning one parcel on the westerly side of Walker Street from the RS -6000 Residential Single Family Zone to the RM -20/A Residential Multiple Family Zone and WHEREAS at the public hearing eivdence was presented and considered both in favor and in opposition to the proposed changes; and WHEREAS the Planning Commission determined that the proposed changes of zone would maximize the commercial and residential development opportunities for the subject property NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Cypress hereby recommends approval of Zone Change No 78-8 PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Cypress held on the 17th day of August, 1978.
