Consideration of an Application for Transfer of an Alcoholic Beverage
License, Type "42" On Sale Beer and Wine for Barbara J. Dehnen,
D.B.A. Foxy Filly, 10461 Denni, Cypress.
Recommendation: Receive and file.
Consideration of an Application to Change a Type "20~' License to a Type
"21" Off Sale General Alcoholic Beverage License for Eid Tabel, D.B.A.
Eddies Jr.'s Market, 5004 Ball Road, Cypress.
Recommendation: Receive and file.
Consideration of an Application for a Type "47" On Sale General Alcoholic
Beverage License for Luis Fortseca and Joe A. Lepe, Jr., D.B.A. Casa
Tequila Restaurant, 9963 Walker Street, Cypress.
Recommendation: That the City Council receive and file this application,
contingent upon the approval by the City Council of Conditional Use
Permit #79-4.
7. Consideration of Request for Authorization to Fill a Vacant Engineering
Position - Engineering Aide.
Recommendation: That the City Council authorize the replacement of the
vacant Principal Engineering Aide position with an Engineering Aide at
Salary Range 22.
8. Consideration of Request for Authorization to Fill a Vacant Police Position -
Court liaison Clerk.
Recommendation: That the City Council authorize the filling of the vacant
Court Liaison Clerk position.

Consideration of Authorization for the Public Works Director to Attend
the 1979 League Public Works Officers' Conference.
Recommendation: That the City Council authorize the Public Works Direc-
tor's attendance at the League Business Conference in Monterey on
March 14 - 16, 1979, and be reimbursed for actual and necessary
expenses.
Consideration of Request From the Japanese American Citizens League to
Proclaim February 19, 1979, as "A Day of Remembrance."
Recommendation: That the City Council proclaim February 19, 1979, as
"A Day of Remembrance" in the City of Cypress.
Consideration of Legislative Bulletin #4-1979 From the League of Cali-
fornia Cities, Dated January 19, 1979.
Recommendation: 1. (AB 301) That the City Council direct staff to pre-
pare a response for the Mayor's signature to appropriate State Legis-
lators expressing the City's support of this Bill; 3. (SB 174) That
the City Council direct staff to prepare a response for the Mayor's
signature to appropriate State Legislators expressing the City's
support of SB 174.
12. Consideration of Attendance of Buyer at Annual Conference.
Recommendation: That the City Council authorize the Buyer to attend
the annual California Association of Public Purchasing Officers'
conference and be reimbursed for all actual and necessary expenses.
13. Consideration of City Investment Account at Bank of America.

Recommendation: That the City Council adopt the Resolution by title only,
title as follows:
A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Cypress
Whereby the Establishment and Maintenance of Security Cash
Accounts Have Been Authorized.
Consideration of Adoption of Salary Resolutions for all City and District
Management Personnel.
Recommendation: That the City Council adopt the salary resolution for
City management employees, and acting as ex-officio Board of Directors
of the Cypress Recreation and Park District, adopt the salary resolu-
tion for District management employees, by titles only, titles as follows:
a. A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Cypress
Establishing Salaries for City Employees Designated
as Management Personnel.
b. A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Cypress,
Ex-Officio Board of Directors of the Cypress Recreation
and Park District, a Subsidiary District of the City of
Cypress, Establishing Salaries for District Employees
Designated as Management Personnel.

Consideration of Acceptance of Improvements and Release of Bonds for
Tract #9743 Residential Portion (Southwest corner of Orange Avenue
and Valley View Street).
Recommendation: That the City Council accept the public improvements
in Tract #9743 Residential Portion Only, as being satisfactorily
completed in accordance with Plans and Specifications and authorize
the City Clerk to release the Monumentation Bond and the Labor and
Material Bond upon e~Mpiration of their required lien period, pro-
viding no mechanic l~ens are filed, with the Performance Bond to
be held for one year from the date of acceptance to guarantee against
any defects in material or workmanship.
