***SPECIAL NOTICE REGARDING COVID-19***
On March 17, 2020, Governor Newsom issued Executive Order N-29-20 in response to the
COVID-19 pandemic, which authorizes the City Council to hold public meetings via
teleconferencing and waives all requirements of the Brown Act requiring the physical presence
of Council Members, staff, or the public as a condition of participation in or quorum for a public
meeting.
THIS IS A CITY COUNCIL MEETING BY TELECONFERENCE ONLY. Members of the public
will have access to listen to the meeting by calling (562) 247-8321 and using Access Code
795-017-301 when prompted. No Audio Pin is necessary.
The public will not be able to provide comments within the teleconference. Members of the
public wishing to submit a general comment or a comment on an agenda item, can email
cityclerk@cypressca.org or call (714) 229-6685 to leave a voicemail message. Please submit
comments by 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2020 to allow enough time to be added to the
City Council agenda as a Consent Calendar item. Comments submitted by the deadline will be
included in the meeting record.

Donations of Paid Time Off to the City's Catastrophic Leave Bank

Recommendation:
1. Direct the City Attorney to draft an amendment to the City Manager Employment
Agreement to permit the City Manager to donate accrued Paid Time Off to the City's
Catastrophic Leave Bank; and

Recommendation:
1. Establish a City Council ad hoc subcommittee to review and make
recommendations regarding requests for support from the City's non-profit partners in
response to COVID-19; and

2. Adopt a Resolution appointing two members of the City Council to the ad hoc
subcommittee, establishing its duration, and its duties.

beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Executive Board Room.
