On March 17, 2020, Governor Newsom issued Executive Order N-29-20, which authorizes the
City Council to hold public meetings via teleconferencing and suspends certain provisions of the
Ralph M. Brown Act in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Consistent with the Governor's Orders, members of the public can view the City Council meeting
streamed live online at www.cypressca.org/watchlive or on Spectrum Cable Channel 36.
Additionally, the public may participate and provide public comment by registering
at https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/6430756949414169100 or listen in
teleconference mode by calling (415) 655-0060 and entering Access Code 181-258-848 when
prompted. No Audio Pin is necessary.

Recommendation:
1. Approve Plans and Specifications for the ADA Playground Surfacing at Various
Parks, Project 276; and
2. Approve a contract to R.E. Schultz Construction Inc. for $463,580, and authorize a
contingency of $46,400; and
3. Approve a Task Order for Construction Inspection Services to TRC (Vali Cooper and
Associates, Inc.), for $21,120, and authorize a contingency of $3,200.
5. Award Contracts for Arterial Rehabilitation, Project 258

Recommendation:
1. Approve Plans and Specifications for Arterial Rehabilitation, Project 258; and
2. Award a contract to All American Asphalt, Corona, CA, for $699,327.00, and
authorize a contingency of $70,000; and
3. Approve a Task Order for Construction Inspection Services to TRCNaIi Cooper and
Associates, for $68,848, and authorize a contingency of $6,800.
6. Award On -Call Contracts for Police Department Motorcycle Maintenance and
Repair Services

Recommendation: Award on-call contracts for Police Department motorcycle
maintenance and repair services to Long Beach BMW Motorcycles and Brown BMW in

9. Approve a Conditional Use Permit and Certify an Environmental Impact Report
for the Proposed Amazon Last -Mile Logistics Facility at 6400-6450 Katella Avenue

1. Adopt a Resolution approving Conditional Use Permit No. 3177, subject to the
attached conditions; and
2. Adopt a Resolution certifying the Environmental Impact Report, approving the
Findings, and the Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program.

10. Receive an Update from the City Manager and City Departments Regarding the
COVID-19 Emergency, and Provide Direction Concerning City Operations,
Allocation of City Resources, Maintenance of Essential Services, Temporary
Suspension and/or Closure of Non -Essential Public Services and Facilities,
Management of City Finances, Measures Necessary to Protect Public Health
and Safety, and Expenditures Necessary to Meet the Community's Needs.
