Recommendation:Receive and file. 10:Consideration of Renewal of Contract for Codification and Supplement Services of the City's Ordinances. 2 CITY COUNCIL AGENDA August 12, 1996 Recommendation: That the City Council authorize the renewal of the contract for codification and supplement services of the City's ordinances with the Municipal Code Corporation, for the period of August 1, 1 996 - July 31, 1 999, with no change in the existing contract. 1 1. Consideration of Building Official's Attendance at the 74th Annual Conference of the International Conference of Building Officials. Recommendation: That the City Council authorize the attendance of the Building Official, Linda Haines, at the 74th Annual Conference of the International Conference of Building Officials, to be held on September 8-1 3, 1 996, and be reimbursed for all actual and necessary expenses incurred. 1 2. Consideration of Appropriation of $1,1 25 From the Unreserved Fund Balance of the General Fund for Class B License Training Authorized by the Maintenance Employees Association (MEA) Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Recommendation: That the City Council appropriate $1,1 25 from the unreserved fund balance of the General Fund to Account No. 41 80- 1 1 -21 1 -08 to f und Class B license training authorized under the recently approved MEA MOU amendment. 13.Consideration of Recommendation From the Cable TV Commission For One Public Access Grant - Fullerton College. Recommendation: That the city Council move to approve the recommendation of the Cable TV Commission, thereby granting a one- time payment of $500.00 to Fullerton College. Recreation & Park District Matters: 14.Consideration of Waiver of Fees for Cinco de Mayo Event. Recommendation: That the City Council, acting as the ex officio governing Board of Directors for the Cypress Recreation and Park District, waive the facility use fees, except for facility deposit ($250) and liability insurance ($242.21), for the Cypress High School Athletic Boosters 1997 Cinco de Mayo Celebration to be held on May 3, 1997.
