2021-10-11 (Special Meeting) 152 SPECIAL JOINT MEETING CYPRESS CITY COUNCIL RECREATION & COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION OCTOBER 11, 2021 5:00 P.M. A special joint meeting of the Cypress City Council and Recreation&Community Services Commission was called to order at 5:04 p.m. by Mayor Peat at Lexington Park, 4600 W. .40 Cerritos Avenue, Cypress, California. (Tour only — no action was taken) ORAL COMMUNICATIONS (Three minutes per speaker, unless extended by the City Council) Jennifer Dagarag, Cypress, expressed concerns about the drinking fountains, vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Ed Kraemer, Cypress, expressed concerns about parking and lighting. 153 Paul Frost, Cypress, expressed concerns about overflow parking into nearby neighborhood. Nelson Machin, Cypress, expressed concerns regarding parking, homeless and lighting. Anthony Uy, Cypress, expressed concerns about parking, trees, and general park design. Sean Clark, Cypress, expressed support and excitement for Lexington Park on behalf of Friday Night Lights participants and families.
