PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Consistent with current COVID-19 safety guidelines, members of the public can participate in
this meeting as follows:
1. Attend In-Person. Limited first-come, first-served seating is available. All in-person attendees
are required to wear a face covering regardless of vaccination status, adhere to social distancing
and seating restrictions, and must be free of any symptoms associated with COVID-19.
2. Attend Virtually via Webinar. This option provides the ability to provide live public comments
during Oral Communications or Public Hearings and view slideshow presentations. Please
register at https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/7190755888938624784 to receive an
email containing a link to join the webinar. Advance registration is recommended.
3. Watch the Meeting. The City Council meeting can be viewed live on Spectrum Cable
Channel 36 or on the City's website at www.cypressca.org/watchlive.
4. Listen to the Meeting. The public may participate via the listen-only teleconference mode by
calling (415) 930-5321 and entering Access Code 617-449-683 when prompted. No registration
or audio pin is necessary.
5. Submit Public Comments Prior to the Meeting. The public may submit comments via email
to cityclerk@cypressca.org. Comments submitted by 3:00 p.m. on February 14, 2022 will be
added to the City Council agenda as a Consent Calendar item.

1.Adopt a Resolution Establishing Lexington Park Rental Rates, Pavilion Rental
Rates, Food Truck Rental Rates, and Equipment Storage Rates

Recommendation:
1. Conduct a public hearing to accept public testimony and written comments on
establishing rental rates for Lexington Park; and
2. Adopt a Resolution approving the revised Master Fee Schedule for the Recreation
and Park District to establish Lexington Park athletic field rental rates, pavilion rental
rates, food truck rental rates, and equipment storage rates, including annual Consumer
Price Index adjustments; and
3. Dedicate Recreation and Park District revenue arising from the revised Master Fee
Schedule for Lexington Park rehabilitation, replacement, and operational costs.

14.Approve an Agreement for the Salute to America Celebration Pyrotechnics

Recommendation: Approve a three-year agreement with Fireworks & Stage FX
America, Inc. for pyrotechnics at the annual Salute to America Celebration not to
exceed $75,000 ($25,000 annually), with an option for two one-year extensions.
15.Approve the Purchase of a Showmobile

Recommendation:
1. Authorize the purchase of a showmobile from Century Industries, LLC for $179,234;
and
2. Appropriate $10,000 in the District’s Capital Replacement Fund; and
