PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Members of the public may participate in this meeting as follows:
1. Attend In-Person. First-come, first-served seating is available in the Council Chambers. Face
coverings are strongly recommended and all in-person attendees must be free of any symptoms
associated with COVID-19.
2. Attend Virtually via Webinar. This option provides the ability to provide live public comments
during Oral Communications or Public Hearings and view slideshow presentations. Please
register at https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/7338119035756158221 to receive an
email containing a link to join the webinar. Advance registration is recommended.
3. Watch the Meeting. The City Council meeting can be viewed live on Spectrum Cable
Channel 36 or on the City's website at www.cypressca.org/watchlive.
4. Listen to the Meeting. The public may participate via the listen-only teleconference mode by
calling (562) 247-8422 and entering Access Code 384-497-315 when prompted. No registration
or audio pin is necessary.
5. Submit Public Comments Prior to the Meeting. The public may submit comments via email
to cityclerk@cypressca.org. Comments submitted by 3:00 p.m. on April 11, 2022 will be added to
the City Council agenda as a Consent Calendar item.

Recommendation:
1. Approve plans and specifications for Tree Planting, Project 304; and
2. Award a contract to West Coast Arborists, Inc. of Anaheim, CA for $80,325, and
authorize a contingency of $8,000.
6.Approve a Task Order for a Sewer System Management Plan Audit
Prepared by: Doug Dancs, Director of Public Works
Recommendation: Approve a Task Order to AKM Consulting Engineers for $33,070 for
engineering services to audit the Sewer System Management Plan and authorize a
$4,900 contingency.
7.Award an On-Call Contract and approve a Task Order for Landscape Inspection
Services
Prepared by: Doug Dancs, Director of Public Works
Recommendation:
1. Award a contract service agreement for on-call landscape inspection services to
Richard Fisher Associates; and
2. Approve a task order not to exceed $100,800 to Richard Fisher Associates to
provide landscape inspection services for ongoing maintenance of established
landscape and trees in the City's medians, parkways and park facilities; and
3. Approve a $25,200 budget appropriation transfer from personnel costs to contract
landscape services in FY 2021-22 in the General Fund ($22,700) and City Central
Services Fund ($2,500).
