Thank you for replying quickly. I am pleased to report we found a day you’re all available.
The Lexington Park grand opening ceremony will be Saturday, March 12 at 1pm. RCS will begin
planning immediately.
The park will open before 3/12 (of course, we’ll keep you posted about the details).

Unfortunately, not all five Council Members are available on 2/26 or 3/5. Obviously, everyone’s
preference is finding a date you can all attend, but we also need to balance that with time for RCS to
plan the event and opening the park to the community.
Having said that, here’s where we are …
Option 1: February 26 at 1pm (after the CVRA/election system community forum)
We hope that with is a long-standing event scheduled this day, all Council Members can make
themselves available on February 26. For those with schedule competition, the ceremonial portion
of the grand opening will run from 100-130, which means you only have to navigate about an extra
90 minutes after the end of the community forum. This is RCS’s preferred day.
Option 2: March 12 at 1pm
RCS believes this is latest date we can reasonably push the ceremony as school spring breaks start
around this time. We will also have opened the park to full (or close to full) use by this date, which
will detract from the grand opening atmosphere and crowd.
Please respond and let us know if you’re able to attend on one or both dates. Please reply ASAP –
preferably by the end of the day today, Monday, January 31 – so RCS can get planning.
