At the March 14, 2022 City Council Meeting Public Works Director Recommend a solar energy power purchase agreement to the City Council for action. X Project may not be viable due to limited roof space. PW and consultant are exploring options. 2. May 2022 Police Chief, working with the Public Works Director Reopen the Police Station and hold a community celebration/open house. X Police Station is operational. Grand opening celebration will be part of PD open house in May. 3. By March 12, 2022 Recreation and Community Services Director, working with the Public Works Director and youth sports groups Celebrate the grand opening of Lexington Park. X Grand opening scheduled March 12. 4. At the February 28, 2022 City Council meeting Public Works Director, working with the Recreation and Community Services Director Recommend a contract for the design of Arnold Cypress Park to the City Council for action. At the January 10, 2022 City Council meeting Finance Director Recommend a State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds Plan for Cypress’ $11.2 million allocation from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to the City Council for action. X 4. FUTURE Planning Director Recommend creating an advisory committee and hiring a consultant team to modernize and integrate Business Park Specific Plans to the City Council for action.
