Can you tell me the name(s) of the people that provided you the information that caused you to draw on your conclusions. Thank you in advance for your help, Scott On Jan 23, 2022 10:21 PM, Bradley Steinbach <baseagle121@gmail.com> wrote: To the City of Cypress City Council Members, January 23, 2022 City council members are civil servants, and are elected to serve their community, not their own personal whims. A contract given to Valley Vista, with no input from the residents, no alternative bids, and no negotiations is unethical. A fifteen year contract, until 2037, is a long time to give a contract to a company that has already shown it does not adhere to bids and contracts. As city council members, it is your responsability and duty to act on behalf of the city’s residents as you would your own home: Get bids from several corporations, negotiate terms, and select the one that best fits your needs. On behalf of myself and my fellow Cypress residents, I demand that the city council follow proper procesures, and request bids from other companies to ensure the residents will be getting what they pay for at a reasonable, agreed price. The rate increases are higher than the inflation rate, and a hardship to many Cypress residents. Please reconsider your decision and the consequences that will follow. It is your duty to do your job for which you were elected, with respect and dignity, and in the best interests of the Cypress citizens. ----------------------------------- Bradley Steinbach Denise Steinbach baseagle121@gmail.com
